We recently spent two nights at the Adventure Inn in San Jose, two separate weekends. We flew into San Jose on a Friday and spent one night there before leaving the next morning to go to Manuel Antonio where we rented a house for the week. Our 2nd night at Adventure Inn was the following weekend after returning from Manuel Antonio. Both nights were stop-overs for us as we were flying into/out of San Jose. The hotel was very quaint, somewhat secluded, with clean rooms, great customer service at the front desk and at the restaurant, a great pool, and room for us to gather to meet up with the other two families we were travelling with. We especially loved the first night as they left the pool open later for us (for our kids to swim) and served dinner and drinks late for us in the little sitting area outside the restaurant. The only negative I have to say is that the food was really not that good. Other than that, perfect for what we needed. Would recommend it for the same purpose.
