They picked us from the airport, arranged a rental car to come to the hotel (which was to the cheaper side of the prices found online - considering the mandatory tax [20$ per day] that is hidden in tiny lawyerly words online), and overall were very helpful with recommendations etc.
The hotel itself is on a semi-strip with brand name hotels and conference centers and is right off the main highway to the city and all over the country (providing you find the entrance ramp - it isn't straightforward). Don't expect a luxury hotel, which this isn't by any stretch of imagination, but a nice lovely inn cared for by nice lovely people. Breakfast is nice and filling with available "gringo" breakfast for, well, gringos, as well as local fare, pancakes, selection of local fruits etc. The American bartender at the restaurant was very helpful too - deserves an extra shoutout.
