“Typical city center park”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

This park as gotten a face lift several times since we have lived her and it is due again. There is only so much that you can do to a block square park to make it interesting. It is not worth a special trip to see it.

“Nice”
Reviewed April 27, 2013 via mobile

We strolled through this park after visiting the cathedral. It wasn't anything special but was certainly a great place for family and friends to meet and enjoy each other. Very quiet.

“Historically significant”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

Its value is in its history, but these days there isn't much going on - mostly just people taking a break, people watching, or hanging out. Historically, it used to be a meeting place for men and women - the men would walk around the perimeter in one direction and the women in the opposite direction (kind of like modern day speed dating), which is interesting to picture as you stand in the square.

“like your local place!”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

We visited in the early evening when families, old gents and ladies, youths, courting couples were all enjoying the air with parrots, pigeons and other birds in the trees. A nice place to stroll and lounge about!
