Beautiful collection of Jades and potteries from pre-columbien times. Very well presented with explanations but not overwhelming.
Plan two hours as there is a lot to see and enjoy.

The museum is in a state of the art building and they have done a good job describing the history and culture through artifacts, including Jade. The Night Hall is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

I visited here in December. Lots to look at and the layout of the museum is pretty genius. We never got lost, which happens at some museums. Also there are plenty or restrooms.

An impressive museum that tells the cultural history of Costa Rica through jade and pottery. Modern and filled with premium examples of the arts.

This was a nice collection of artifacts. The computerized information was not working, so there was no English explanation available. We were fairly much in the dark about what we were seeing. It did not appear that this was a single-day incident; staff just shrugged when we commented on it. My suggestion would be to ask if the audio is working in your language, and come back a different day if it is not, unless you are accompanied by a guide. The displays were beautiful.
