“closed.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

Don't visit as it is currently closed. It is relocating, and even the locals don't know that. We walked there only to find the sign posted. Wait until there is a new location with a phone number you can call to confirm.

In the national insurance company building. A must see with a very significant collection of jade pieces.

“It is CLOSED”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2014

Tried to visit in Feb 2014 but it is in the process of moving! Not much more to say than that. Fortunately it was a drop-in on our attraction tour and we didnt feel bad about not seeing it.

“Where Abierto Meets Cerrado...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

I would LIKE to say more, but despite a large sign on the imposing doors saying 'Open,' the facility was deserted on a Saturday in January, and the Guard on the Administrative side said the Museum adjacent is 'Closed,' and offered no additional information... Learned later at another museum that they are apparently moving the contents of the Jade Museum 'from one side of the building to the other.' ?! And the museum will be closed until sometime in March 2014. Rather odd.

“Closed till June”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2014

We tried to go to the Museum of Jade on Jan 13, 2014. We were told the museum is closed because it is being moved to a new building currently under construction. Anticipated re-opening is June, 2014.
