Good peruvian food, they have several "pikeos" (to share) options, wich is nice if you go with friends or family.

The atmosphere is not so good, it's something between an sports bar an a restaurant, but not clearly defined.

The food has a good taste, but the problem is that changes from time to time. I get the same dish and the taste from the first to second time was really different, none of them was bad, but you expect the same quality every time.

There are some better peruvian options in Costa Rica, like Chancay and Ceviche del Rey, even the Inka Grill

Pikeos is Costa Rica's best Peruvian restaurant. The one in Escazu is on the second floor with a limited, but nice view of the western side of the central valley. The portions are generous, the waiters are friendly, helpful with the menu and well-versed in the contents of the different sauces.
My favorite is the whole fried fish with seafood sauce for $15 tax and tip included.

My husband, daughter and I stopped for lunch after a recommendation from a friend. The view was spectacular. Our food was tasty and presented beautifully. We'll go back again when in the area.

We went in a business lunch, I had pass in front of the restaurant many times but never paid attention to the place, but I had a really pleasant surprise today. The view of the exterior tables in really amazing, really good view of Lindora and Belen, additionally the food was delicious the Pikeo we ordered as entrance was really good, and the Chaufa I ordered was also really good. Even the rocoto was good. The service also was really good, a place to recommend in Escazu. Not expensive at all.

I beg to differ with the review that gave this a bad review. First the restaurant has only been open a month so the new staff is learning the menu. Second the owners have learned from the "Masters of Peruvian food" as they are the sons of the owners of Machu Picchu in San Jose. Third, by incorporating "New Generation Fusion" the food has a delightful twist on flavors. I had the Causa limena with tuna and it was excellent. My friend had the Lomito Salteado (her favorite dish) and there was just a tad left to bring back to her husband to taste.
