The ambiance is really nice, trendy and modern. It is just a busy place at times since it is one of the restaurants at the intercontinental Hotel. Good option for a fast bite if you are staying at the hotel. I would not make a trip just to dine here though.
Service is slow get ready to wait for your food. Not cheap place and maybe value does not really justify the price
You can make your own pizza, sandwich and Hamburgers, but the taste is not really memorable. Just hotel food. really nice gourmet style appareance, but just hotel food. Not really memorable. Not bad either. I've had better food on other Hotels in San Jose and I have stayed in several along the years.

I've been to the restaurant a few times and the experience is always the same: very good food but bad service. The order always takes a lot of time and it is always wrong (something is always missing). I imagine the problem is when the waiter has to explain to the kitchen the exact ingredients you want in the custom plates (such as the burgers, pizza, sandwiches). The waiters are nice and when you point out the mistake they will try to fix it somehow. Late night dinning is specially bad since they have fewer staff.

Make sure you reserve a table so you don't have to wait, specially for lunch hours.

Payment is also bad. If you pay with credit card, prepare to wait more. Last time they refused to split the check with more than two cards.

The only quick option is the salad bar because it is self service. The variety of ingredients is good.

Food is very good. Delicious burgers and the menu salads are nicely prepared.

Prices are good, it can be really cheap if you have the hotel's executive pass.

The atmosphere is really nice and since the food is good, you end up forgiving the mistakes and returning.

It would be perfect if they: i) implemented a different system to take the orders so there aren't that many mistakes in the kitchen, and ii) processed the payment faster.

This Restaurant is a good option when you want something different, great corned beef on the Reuben, but we ordered salads and other stuff and sometimes is good and sometimes is bad, service needs to improve. I like that they have quality ingredients and when you want a good sandwich or pizza you can create your own thing. Hate the fact that they don't have good fresh fruit drinks.

They have good food and I enjoy their burger very much!!! They seem to always have a small issue with the delivery. Either once the fries were a little cold or they forgot. But, they always fix it and they seem to be very professional about making it right.
The place is nice and its a cool place to eat!

It is a little pricey to eat a Hamburger or their other items but it is also the InterContinental Hotel so I´m sure people are willing to pay the extra $3 - 4. They do have a good variety of food for other tastes and they prepare it in any combination that you want. Pastas, Sandwiches, Pizzas, etc...
