“We loved this place”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

This was a unique experience, it is WAY off the beaten path. Thank goodness for my phone/GPS or I don't know if we could have found it. But it is worth the trek through some tiny, hilly, winding streets of Escazu. The view was very impressive at night! Really creates a nice ambience. The restaurant is VERY basic in terms of seating and aesthetics etd. The food was good, it is a very typical Tico place (meat, rice, beans, plantains etc, nothing fancy) but the buffet is a GREAT deal. I would go back again.

“I really enjoyed the view and the food”
Reviewed June 23, 2012

BTW this restaurant also on TA wrongly spelled as Tiquisia. Look for more reviews there. Great food, I had the tenderloin with the Costa Rican sides, and the cheese balls. Loved the view which was breathtaking as the clouds kept coming in and then lifting, creating a show of light and dark, with occasional lightning.

“Very good mix”

You will find there good typical food, typical dances, nice rural environment and a perfect view to the valley, covering most San Jose. I enjoyed it pretty much.

“Awesome view”
Reviewed May 4, 2012

For an incredible night time view of San Jose and the surrounding area this restaurant is hard to beat. Good steak too. Kind of cool at night due to breeze and elevation. Take a sweater or jacket and enjoy. Lights of the city sparkle like diamonds.
