This restaurant lies close to the centre of San José and serves fantastic fresh food with a Turkish twist. Owner Mehmet Onuralp was vey friendly and helped us bij choosing from the menu. He made fresh tomatosauce for our daughter's spaghetti while she doubted over the houmous and wild rice. The meals were really excellent, fresh, tasteful. But most of all we loved the sweet antique music they had and the fact that there were no sharp lights but soft lightning. Together with the lovely glass of white wine we had, it was the best meal we had in Costa Rica. Our son was delighted by the genuine lemon he had for dessert, which was filled with homemade lemonice.
We highly recommand Sofia!
