“Home cooked Costa Rican Meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013

Warm and typical Costa Rican resturant. The meal was fresh, delicious and just the right portions. I had the fish and my son had the chicken. A right balance of flavours with the added ambiance of a little cafe. You can beat the prices either.

“Even the kids loved it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 6, 2013

We recently spent 10 days in Costa Rica with our 2 kids ages 10 and 7 (related blog post on OdysseyOutdoors.net) and ate lunch at Soda Sanchez twice we liked it so much. It looks like a hole in the wall and there are only 4 tables. Order the casado which is the traditional Costa Rican lunch of rice, beans, plantains, salad and protein of choice. We ordered both the chicken filet and fish filet casados and they were excellent, filling and only about $5. In fact, I ate almost every bite one day and never even got hungry for dinner! The kids had quesadillas and fries and were also very content. It was actually the kids who asked to go back the 2nd time!

Great local food in downtown Quepos! The best authentic dishes if you want to try the local food. Can't wait for lunch tomorrow.

“As good as it gets”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

We've eaten in many of the top restaurants in Quepos and Manuel Antonio during our month long stay in this unique area, and the food at Soda Sanchez is as good any place we've been. Not fancy, but authentic Tico food at prices you won't believe, dinner for four with a beer, less than $30. We;ll be back!!

“Amazing quesadillas and great prices”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 11, 2013

My boyfriend and I ducked into this cozy little restaurant in Quepos near the bus station. Initially all we wanted was a coffee but a few minutes later the smells from the kitchen made it impossible to resist ordering some food too. We ordered the quesadillas and they were incredible! They were fast, so authentic and really filling and the price was great. The ladies running the place were really friendly too! Great little place to check out if you're on your way to Manual Antonio National Park.
