Owner description: Canopy Safari provides tourists a full blown adventure tour. Set in the heart of the tropical rainforest we have something for everyone. An exciting canopy zip line tour with ten zip lines, two rapel limes, a suspension bridge and a tarzan swing. We also have a butterfly garden, serpentarium, tilapia fishing ponds, a caimen lagoon, walking trails and a beautiful restaurant where we serve buffet style meals. We were the first canopy tour in the southern area of costa rica and we are still setting the standards for the safest, the best and the most exciting canopy tour in costa rica. Since 1997 we have been taking our guests out into the jungle and providing them with an unforgettable experince that they will always remember. Come and have the experience of a lifetime with us

This is a great value: they provide transportation and a nice breakfast or lunch. Our guides, Al and Andres were super fun as well as knowledgeable and well-trained. This was my first time doing anything like this, but I was totally confident with these guys in charge. My husband did a different tour the previous day and he thought the zip lines on Canopy Safari were longer and that the equipment was more comfortable. We have no hesitation recommending this company!

We had such a good time on this tour thanks to our guide Andres. His enthusiasm for Costa Rica and the knowledge and stories he shared were great. During the zip course he and all of the other guides were so friendly and having so much fun that you couldn't help but join in and laugh and enjoy yourself. Even though the tone was light the guides were always making you feel safe as you went along. We had never rappelled or done a Tarzan swing before in all of our zip experiences so that was fun. The butterfly area at the end of the tour is not to be missed either. I can't tell you how happy we were that we chose this tour. Thanks Andres and crew for a fantastic day!

Zipline in Costa Rica is simply a must! Zip lining with Canopy Safari - a certainty ! We were picked up and taken about an hour inland to the most beautiful part of Quepos, Diego was our personal guide, he was fabulous, on the way gave us horticultural lessons on the natural environment and then we arrived at this stunning place up on a hill only to be greeted with smiling faces and a full cooked breakfast ready to be rigged up and have some adrenaline fun, the guys made us feel secure, not too mention their entertaining ways to make us laugh.... They have 10 zip lines, a Tarzan rope, and two repel ropes, the whole experience was exhilarating and adrenaline pumping. To finish we went into the butterfly enclosure and held some wonderful looking butterfly's and saw some enclosed snakes, this company truly take care of their environment and really focus on sustaining nature.....thanks Diego and the team at Canopy Safari

We just had an amazing day with Canopy Safari. The guides were fantastic.
Andres picked us up at our hotel, we were greeted by Jorge, Heiner, Diego and Rambo.
Our boys 13 &15 were excited and I was apprehensive. It was AWESOME.
The guides took their time with us, joking with the kids and very serious about safety.
We had a great time with the tour starting with our bus ride through Quepos and a bit of a history tour, continuing with a complete background on the land and the future of the palm groves in Quepos.
When we arrived at 7:30 am a wonderful breakfast was waiting for us. Excellent eggs, fresh fruit, toast, coffee, fresh squeezed apple juice and water. We had a great time.
The first zip line was a great introduction to the tour. The walk up to Zip #2 was a bit long but you find out why - incredible views and more history of the land. The walking sticks were a great help and it was nice that the path was well done with stone steps the entire way up. The curvature of the walk along with the history of everything living along the way made it easy!
The canopy lines from tree to tree were exciting. The bridges and rappelling fun and easy and the Tarzan swing terrifying - but we can all say we did it!
If you are looking for adventure with a bit of a rush this is it. We all did it and it was a great day. Many in our group were over the age of 60 and they did great so don't be afraid - let the guys here (sorry no lady guides this day) take care of you.
You won't regret it!
Helmets for everyone, safety equipment checked and double checked. The guides were very serious about safety for everyone and that made me very, very happy.
At the end the butterfly farm and serpentarium was beautiful. The butterfly's were so colorful as were the poisonous snakes! We promise not to touch if they are colorful!
Thanks for a great day.

This zip line experience is a must ! The 10 lines plus rappell was a recharge to my senses. The tour guide was exceptional and extremely entertaining and funny.

There's a beautiful butterfly garden and local snakes.

The appealing local fresh lunch was very well received and enjoyable. It was prepared onsight by two local cooks. Very nice.
