Owner description: Canopy Safari provides tourists a full blown adventure tour. Set in the heart of the tropical rainforest we have something for everyone. An exciting canopy zip line tour with ten zip lines, two rapel limes, a suspension bridge and a tarzan swing. We also have a butterfly garden, serpentarium, tilapia fishing ponds, a caimen lagoon, walking trails and a beautiful restaurant where we serve buffet style meals. We were the first canopy tour in the southern area of costa rica and we are still setting the standards for the safest, the best and the most exciting canopy tour in costa rica. Since 1997 we have been taking our guests out into the jungle and providing them with an unforgettable experince that they will always remember. Come and have the experience of a lifetime with us

“Awesome Experience Zip Lining in Costa Rica”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

We had a great time going Zip-Lining with this tour company. They picked us in our hotel in Manuel Antonio. And from the first hello, the friendliness was obvious. We met more people at the center in Quepos and together went on the ride toward the jungle, as everyone on the bus got to know each other. All the guides were great. They made the experience awesome, fun, and SAFE. I've done zip-lining before and they really know what they do to ensure your safety. Lunch afterward was tasty too. The butterfly garden on-site was a nice bonus. The CD with pictures is worth it! They have high quality photographer with you along the trail. It's really up to you if you want to get it.

“Awesome Zip Line experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013 via mobile

The reviews and overall score of this outfit sum it up - this is the place to go for Zip Lining in the Manuel Antonio area. We had an awesome time zip lining through the jungle with guides that were extremely talented, funny, friendly, yet safe. For those who aren't sure if they are able to perform for this excursion let me say that there is a fair amount of uphill walking over uneven terrain in the humid jungle as you make your way up to the top of the mountain. While this may be obvious, but if you are afraid of heights and the through of standing on a small platform high above the ground (chained to it, of course) scares you, then this isn't going to be for you. We had a boy in our group who was 8 years old and he had a blast.

“Loved, loved, LOVED this!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2013

We enjoyed time with the Canopy Safari crew on Weds, 1/30/13. IT WAS A BLAST. These folks LOVE their job - and it shows! The crew joked, teased, and supported the entire group of 27 people, and every one of us left with a smile on our face! The experience of our smaller group of 7 varied from never ziplined before, to experienced climbers/rappelers...and ALL of us loved every single minute of this adventure. The tour guide gave us a great overview of the area during the bus ride to the location; we then went through a butterfly garden, and saw native snakes. We were then suited up, and enjoyed 10 ziplines / a tarzan swing / 2 rappels and a bouncy bridge, followed by the most delicious meal! The course was VERY well kept - lines are NOT rusted or frayed; all security equipment is top notch. There was never a moment where we were not secured. The hike to the first zipline is hearty - over 350 steps up - but the guide took plenty of breaks, and they supply walking sticks to help. DO NOT LET THE HIKE STOP YOU! This was a not-to-be-missed experience, and we're thrilled we did it!

“Really felt like I was in the Rainforest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

These guys are awsome. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and I felt very safe with them. They gave good instructions at the beginning. There is also a photographer there taking pictures which you can purchase at the end of the tour if you like. You won't need sunglasses or bugspray so don't bother bringing them. You can leave your other belongings at the site, its secure. The ziplines were really fun and not scary. Amazing views of the rainforest, saw lots of wildlife too. At the end of the tour we had an amazing meal. This is a must do while you're in Costa Rica
