This was one of the best activities we did while visiting Manuel Antonio this past week. Our guides name was Miguel and he did an amazing job. He was very diligent in the training and focused on our safety. The tour started in town, then we took a boat and ended on a small island nearby. The tour included beautiful beach views as well as a look into everyday life of the Costa Ricans. My favorite part was stopping at a locals small house where Miguel cut up fresh fruit for us to eat. There were also many children running up to us to say hi, they were super adorable and full of happiness. It was nice to see the locals in their everyday life. We would definitely recommend this tour- request Miguel if possible- he is engaging, funny, knowledgable, and has a very "zen" and happy personality! Pura Vida!

Our guide made all the difference. He was intelligent, funny, patient and focused. 4 of us took off on our Segway machines after being instructed on how to use them. Miguel took us over to an island next to Quepos where we rode down the beach and out into the interior of the island. I felt like we were seeing authentic Costa Rica, the beauty, the poverty, the friendly children and the alternative life style....all was on display......The trip is not for everyone, some balance and a sense of adventure are required, but most people would surely find the experience authentic, interesting and well done. We had a blast zooming about and playing while we felt safe and confident that Miguel had it all under control.

Luis was our guide for 6 adults. The training and preparation was excellent. He took lots of time for each of us to feel secure and safe. Then off we went on a wonderful jungle tour. No detail left unturned. Midway through the tour, Luis served us an amazing array of fresh fruits. All in all, I will go again and recommend this to anyone!

This is one of the best tours I have had in 10 years of visits to Costa Rica.I have always wanted to ride one of these machines since I first saw it introduced years ago. I took the $95.00 tour and it is well worth the money. After a thorough training session, we headed out of town. Got to see the real Costa Rica traveling through the barrio to the ferry landing. The island was amazing to visit and Miquel´s enthusiasm about the machine is obvious. More importantly, he communicates his love for the people of the island and the land itself. His English is exceptional.Once we got to the island beach, we switched from turtle mode to high speed and blasted down the beach. I could go on, but let me sufice it to say, I will be back with my family to do this trip again,

This is an amazing tour, especially if you want to see areas off the beaten path! The 2 hour tour took us along the Quepos waterfront, marina, and to a ferry where we went to Cocal Island, a place where tourists do not typically go which is what makes this tour so special. The beaches in Cocal are beautiful along with the views back to Manuel Antonio and the Pacific coast.

Luis was our guide, and he did a great job teaching us how to ride the segways. He made sure everyone was comfortable before we left the marina area. Luis guided us through sand, mud, and city streets. If you have never been on a segway, you must try it... it is a lot of fun! This was a great experience. Totally recommend it.
