Owner description: While you're in Quepos / Manuel Antonio Costa Rica you won't want to miss out on this unique, eco-friendly Segway Jungle Island tour that will put you directly on jungle trails and beaches full of wildlife. This Segway tour includes: Segway training, safety equipment, bilingual guide, ferry fare, bottle of water, natural drink, and snacks. What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes or sandals, and camera. We will also take a lot of pictures of your tour. We provide training on the x2 off road Segway. Our guest range from "pro's" to "first time" riders, and in age from 10 to 85 years. This is the most fun you can have standing up. We teach you how to stand, ride and have a blast on our new 2014 Segway's. Our guides will have you riding like an expert within 15 minutes. We will also review all safety issues with the Segways to give you a safe and enjoyable experience. The Tour Details - Your Segway tour starts at the Quepos Marina. We start by teaching you Segway Safety and then to ride the Segway. Segway Costa Rica will provide all required safety equipment. From the Quepos marina we will ride to the beautiful Nahomi Park. This raised park provides a great panoramic view's above the clear Pacific Ocean waters and also has a family of sloths living there. We sometimes see sloth's and spider monkeys playing in the large tree's of Nahomi park. Leaving Nahomi Park we will ride along the raised walkway that borders Quepos and the Pacific Ocean on our way to the ocean ferry that will take us to the beautiful Jungle Island just off shore called Cocal Island. You will experience Cocal and it's beauty. Cocal Island has no bridges or cars, just beautiful natural walk ways and endless beaches. Cocal is home to a small colony of friendly villagers. It is also home to the 2013 World Body Board Champion! Touring the island of Cocal we stop at a Sugar Cane Plantation and you will sample & take some fresh cut sugar cane with you. We stop at a shaded beach area where you can pick your own coconut for a natural drink. Our guides will open the coconut for you to experience it fresh. After riding on the sands of the island and touring endless walk ways and trails, we head back to the ferry and return to the Quepos Marina where our tour ends.

What a fun way to see some of the nooks and crannies of the Quespos area of Costa Rica. I probably would not have picked this tour. However, at my 11 year old's suggestion we decided to sign up. What a great find! Our group was 4 adults and 1 child. We took the sunset tour from 3-6PM which I would highly recommend. After what seemed like some very long instructions and safety tips we were finally on our way. I will add that once you climb aboard a Segway you understand quickly why the long training is important and necessary. I would also highly recommend Miguel. He was very personable and safety was always his #1 priority. The best experience was Segway'ing through a small village and beach area that I can not imagine you would see any other way except on this tour. You will not regret making this part of your Manual Antonio Costa Rica experience!

On March 6, 2013 I took the Segway trip, This was a fun, safe and a great way to see parts of Costa Rica that we would not have been able to see with out the Segway tour. I was a little nervous learning to drive the seg way because it was my first time, but he made sure we knew what we was doing before we left the office. I am so glad I decided to take the tour, loved tasteing the coconut & water. Ride on the beach was awesome, and the ride through the little village was a experience I will never forget!! Thank you!!

We stayed in Quepos from Feb 11 to Feb 15. During our stay I suggested to my husband that we try the Segway Tour. He was a little hesitant but joined me anyway. We had so much fun and it was easy to learn. They picked us up from our hotel. We learned how to drive our Segway in 30 mins at teh main office in Quepos. Our guide Miguel was a great teacher who belives in safety first, making sure we passed our "driver's test" before venturing out to the marina, the beach, and to the little town we travelled to by boat. Our favorite part was zipping along the isolated beach in the early morning! I would not heistate to recommend the Seqway Tour to our friends and family. We had a great time and plan Segway to again someday.

Have always wanted to try a Segway tour and this was awesome. Great instruction before hand, a gracious and courteous staff with a desire to share the culture of Costa Rica with us. We've traveled the world and this is one of the best "tours" ever. Pura Vida indeed!

We loved this tour very much. Our guide was very helpful and show us interesting things. This wasthe first time on a segway but was very impressed with them and will look for other tours like this. It wasn't anything like I expected, it was much better.
