We spent two days just outside Corcovado National Park at La Tarde with Nito from Surcos Tours. Our focus was birds and Nito did not disappoint as an excellent birding guide. We identified over 120 species in two days with Nito's help. He also provided us a list of birds we should be on the lookout during the five days we spent in the National Park.
Highlights include orange-collared manakins at a lek, laughing falcon over a beautiful lagoon, crested owl on a night hike, and slate-tailed trogons. If you are a birder looking for an excellent guide on the Osa Peninsula, look no further than Nito!
