Description: Located on the Ocean drive Beach, we have some tables just on the water, for a scenic sunset dinner with candlelight and Soft Eclectic Music. it is more than 14 years that Il GIardino is rising the bar of the quality of Food, Service and Ambient, establishing the comparative mark for local and not local restaurant. This Year we started serving, first in town ever, GRILLED WHOLE FISH AND ITALIAN STYLE " FIORENTINA " STEAK, obtaining great appreciation from our Guests. We try to use, the most is possible, local products for our plates, and we, as always, produce our homemade Pasta and Bread, being, again, the only one in this. We utilize only Local Farmer Meat, that we season following the Old Italian Tradition from Toscana and Piemonte, and we prepare it on the Grill, just in front of our Guests. Our BANANA-BOMBA dessert is an unique creation of us, and somebody says that "...it is the Tiramisu' of future!!" The Fresh Fruit drinks we prepare and the Cocktails are always made with fresh fruit and no prefabricated mix are involved in them. We are the Culinary experience you are looking for in the OSA!!

Imagine one of the best Italian Restaurant that you have ever eaten at......imagine no further...head for Puerto Jimenez!?!
We were in PJ for a while and ate there 4 times. We were hooked after our first meal. We did eat at othe restaurants but kept coming back.
Food:
brushetta - fresh ingredients, on nice toasted bread
The Ravioli - pumpkin and meat was al dente and perfectly stuffed
Tenderloin- the peppercorn sauce and the rosemary garlic was succulent and the meat cut like butter; both were accompanied by perfectly grilled veggies.
The mushroom risotto was succulent.

The owners, the chef are are friendly, knowledgeable and great hosts. They show great care for both their food and customers.
The prices are very reasonable.

The atmosphere is warm, nice decor, furniture. You can see the menu online.

Imagine eating sushi followed by homemade pumpkin ravioli! Not only was the sushi perfectly prepared and artistically presented, it was delicious! Since we were in an Italian restaurant, we had to sample one of the many fresh pastas. We couldn't resist the pumpkin-stuffed ravioli which was another big hit. Owner and chef, Julio, and chef, Jimmy, explained how they achieved the flavor and texture of the pumpkin filling. They enthusiastically shared the recipe and, now, we can try it at home. At the end of our lunch, we asked Cecilia, Julio's wife, if they offered any cool coffee beverages. She created and brought us a wonderfully delicious iced coffee with a touch a ice cream that hit the spot! This is a must visit again when we return to Puerto Jimenez.

I've eaten here several times and always enjoy the pumpkin ravioli, bow tie pasta with walnuts, and onion and gorganzola pizza. The atmosphere is nice, with a great ocean view.

I ate here only once, much to my dismay. I had spaghetti and it was fantastic. Got hit by a brief but strong downpour before we got our food but were back on the patio before it arrived. I highly recommend eating here not only for the great food but the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.
