Owner description: Changing Tide Tours has had over 7,500 guests tour the Golfo Dulce with us during the past eight years. We are proud of the fact that, in addition to being the longest operating tour boat provider on the OSA, we are also known as the ‘Premium Tour’ on the Gulf. That's because our custom-built tour boats are safe, comfortable and well equipped; and they are always manned by a professional, licensed Captain and English speaking Guide team. Changing Tide Tours finds the dolphins over 90% of the time. Come with us and enjoy a fun, informative, 25+ mile guided tour as the Golfo Dulce (‘Sweet Gulf’) serves up its many “magical” wonders. Whales, Dolphins, Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, Sea Turtles, numerous Fish, and Sea Birds—all these have been seen by our guests. Our tour boats are equipped with quiet, eco-friendly four stroke motors, contoured seats and a full-canopy sun top for your comfort and protection. After a short crossing, you will experience the Gulf’s lush, rugged Eastern Shore, up close and personal to "one of the world’s three tropical fjords." Along with your Dolphin Cruise and informative eco- tour, your crew will offer Swimming, Snorkeling and Plane Boarding when and where conditions permit. And when you return to the boat, you can enjoy a fresh water rinse and fresh fruit. Tour is 4-5 hours.

“You cannot miss this tour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Josh and Tino were the most fantastic guides you could hope for. There's no better way to see the gulf. The boats are unique with captain chairs strapped to the front of the boat... all the better to observe playful dolphins as they swim and leap alongside the boat... great photo opportunities! Plus the boat is covered so shade is always an option. Josh was very knowledgeable about the types of sea life we might see (and did see!) and was fantastic at finding pods of dolphins for us to observe. Tino was a total professional.

But this tour isn't just dolphins. It's a beautiful tour of the gulf and the fantastic tropical fjords that make up the area. Snorkeling is offered as well as an animal sanctuary stop (recommended)... plus a tour of the mangroves. This tour was a highlight of my trip to the Osa and you would be crazy to miss it!

“Sweet Tour in the Golfo Dulce”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

If you are visiting the Osa this trip is a must do! Josh and Tino are terrific guides who clearly know their backyard, which, lucky for them is the Golfo Dulce. All of us loved the "Air Chairs"-great for catching that rare Osa breeze and sunning and spotting dolphins. The plane boarding is a blast. We spend about 2 hours following a pod of Pan-Tropical dolphins, sometimes in the water with them and sometimes just on the boat. Truly incredible. The snorkeling is great and the water is so, so warm you won't want your Changing Tides tour to end.

“' The Josh ' is an excellent guide, and funny too.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2012

A group of 5 of us including 11 yr old Athena had a wonderful time with Josh as our guide. Great boat with the 'airplane' seats up front. We saw so many birds, dolphins up close, manta rays
