“An unequalled experience”

Cees (Case) and Miranda were fabulous hosts. I continue to be amazed at the energy that a good host requires to keep everybody happy. These guys have it down to a science. The swimming holes and waterfalls on the property are sublime. The Tent platforms were luxurious and bug free. Great hot shower. Breakfast(extra, but good value) was always great.

I stayed here for 3 nights and could have stayed 3 months! I felt like family!
Cees and Miranda and their wonderful boys as well as Karen and Flora the housekeepers made my stay even more memorable.
The safari tents in the rain forest with the river and jungle sounds lulling me to sleep each night was breath-taking.
Breakfast was delicious and fresh and the fresh fruit smoothies were a great mid afternoon indulgence.
I was traveling alone without a car and Cees graciously offered to give me a ride to my shuttle.
They went above and beyond to make my stay amazing.
I will be back!

This was definitely one of our top best addresses in Costa Rica. We spent 4 days with our kids in this marvellous place. Superb and comfortable safari tents planted in the wonderful valley of the Rio Tico at a few kilometers from the ocean. Refreshing swimming in the magnificent pools and falls of the Rio Tico at a few steps from the tents. Great breakfasts.Superb trails in the tropical forest. And the owners, Ciess and Miranda, are so gentle and helpful!!! Rio Tico Safari Eco lodge is a unique place that has everything you need to be happy!

It has been about a year since we have been to Rio Tico and it is still a great experience. The service, accommodations and beauty of Rio Tico are still outstanding. This is a wonderful place and the owners do all they can to make your trip a memorable one. If you visit Costa Rica this is one trip you want to experience.

We just came home after a two week during holiday in Costa Rica. We ended our holiday in the Rio Tico Safari Lodge. It was a fantastic end of our vacation.

First of all, Cees and Miranda provides a fantastic service with a capital S. They are truly committed to their clients and make you feel comfortable and home. They are allways around to help you. Well done.

Thanks to a unpaved road straight into the jungle (an adventure on its own), the logde is situated in the serenity of the rainforest. No urban noises, just the toecans, howler monkeys and the waterfall to wake you.
The safari tents provide an additional atmosphere.

In conclusion, it is a fantastic and beautifull place with a very good service. One of those rare places, you don't want to leave...

A very special experience to sleep in a tent, hearing the rainforest with all its sounds. No quite nights (rain, waterfall, birds, monkeys), but very relaxing. The host is extremely nice and friendly, the breakfast is with love and good choice, it is a wonderful place to be.

We can really recommend this Lodge, if you want to get something special.

This place is amázing! Wish I could have stayed longer...

Spend 5 days in tropical paradise. A mix of clear water streams, rainforrest, Colibris humming around, threetoed Sloths, relaxation and discovery, all combined with luxury in a back to basic style. Just loved it.

The owners are very friendly and helpful too. They helped me arrange some nice trips and also did a waterfall repelling tour. Great stuff. Not to be forgotten, they serve some very good meals.

As far as the housing is concerned... They call it a tent, but it might as well have been a fancy bungalow. The set-up is unique. Enough privacy as far as views and sounds (can) go, no problems with insects and still enjoying nights among jungle life. If you appreciate nature, what more could you ask for... Oh, I know. A return back there some day ;-)
