“Worth the hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2014

Beautiful hike to some pretty amazing waterfalls! Be careful jumping off the swing rope into the water - a guy broke his ankle on a rock and had to be carried out and down the mountain.

“Magic and unique!”

One of my favorites spots in the world!!! Three consecutive amazing waterfalls with refreshing pools surrounded by pristine forest and a lot of wildlife. A deep connection with Mother Nature!!!

“An easy way and a hard way!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2014

When you get to the falls, there's a path opposite the giant falls that will take you up and over to the top. (worth it! two giant pools, the top one has a rope you can swing off of and into the pool) It is a difficult climb that entails vertical portions where you have to use the ropes that are provided! It's fun, but hard. On the way down, if you follow the painted arrow on the far side of the pool away from the falls, it will take you on a trail with man made stairs and back out to the street, much safer and easier. You can take it there as well - but will have to ask how to get to it as we went the hard way up. The owner of the trail charges 4 US dollars, but it's worth it if you don't feel like being tarzan.

“Great way to spend a day”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2014

Although not the easiest place to get to (which is part of the charm). Once there it is great for swimmig in the pool below or if a little braver then diving from the waterfall.

Very easy to spend an afternoon here just sitting in the sun and swimming

“A nice hike up to the falls”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 26, 2014

About a half hour, moderately easy hike right out of Montezuma. When you get to the falls swim is very refreshing. We went late afternoon and there were only 10 people there. Very enjoyable and free.
