My daughter is starting College in the fall and we traveled as a family of 4 to Costa Rica before she goes off to college. She picked Casa Cariblanco and its was perfect way to end our trip. Loved waking up to the beautiful sunrise, the hike down to the waterfalls, the small but eclectic town of Montezuma. Loved the beach past Ylang Ylang beach resort, with it short hike up to sweat water swimming hole and small waterfall. Alex and Khalida were great hosts, had an afternoon swim with Khalida and the girls talking about their choice of giving up the big city life of New York , to come to Costa Rica and the girls school close by(sounds like an amazing school) Can not wait to go back for another stay.
It was great to wake up to sounds of the monkeys and birds as the morning broke sitting out on the porch with a cup of coffee, without the distraction of a TV.
