Description: Kapi Kapi Restaurant is Manuel Antonio's choice for fine dining. Our Asian-influenced seafood, succulent steaks, and original dessert menu keep locals and tourists coming back again and again. Macadamia nut encrusted Mahi Mahi sound delicious? How about sugar cane skewered prawns with a tamarind, coconut, and rum glaze? Our fresh peppercorn-seared ahi tuna is to die for! Start with seafood cigars, our most popular appetizer and finish with the hot chocolate souffle! We are open daily 4pm-10pm on the main road to the park across from Pacific Colonial Condos and Tulemar resort.

We had dinner here on Sept 20th. We asked our hotel to make a reservation but it wasn't really needed as this was low season. There as one other table occupied when we arrived on the Friday evening. We had the seafood cigars, good, kind of like a seafood egg roll, the seared tuna, it was ok and we had the calamari, this was the weakest dish. All in all the food was just ok, on par with our hotel, Arenas Del Mar.

Coming from Orange County Ca we have a lot of choices for fresh fish and while the ambiance was very nice and the service was excellent, we thought the food was just ok.

Costa Rica is not really known for it's food. So if I take the meal in the context of the surroundings then it was good.
It's a nice fancy place for dinner.

We traveled to Costa Rica in April and I'm a little late in writing this review but I felt that it was needed since this restaurant was exceptional. The property is set back off the main road and we noticed the lights one night and decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did.

The place was packed but they managed to find us a place by pulling together a few tables. We had six people for dinner. The staff were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. Dinner was just as good as the service. They served ample portions and everything was delicious. My husband ordered seared tuna and it was a huge portion and very tasty. I really don't remember what I had but I do remember loving all the flavors. Great menu and very tasty. No one was disappointed.

I would stop here again the next time we visit Manuel Antonio for sure!

We had a group of 6 at dinner this evening. This was our celebratory dinner for a week of travel in a group that included several birthdays. Based on the recommendation of our rafting guide Mega, we went to Kapi Kapi. We were not disappointed. The food and service was excellent. Highly recommend the "seafood cigars" as an appetizer and any fresh seafood for dinner. The accompanying sides included a variety of salads and rice, all excellently prepared with a lot of flavor.

We visited this place one night and really enjoyed the food. The view wasn't good but the food was worth that. However the prices of the restaurant were a bit extreme. So be ware....

We walked here from Los Altos where we were staying. Our driver and the person at the front desk both recommended Kapi Kapi for dinner. It was a really nice meal. The food and service were both great. Our waiter informed us during dinner of the souffle we ordered it on the spot. And it was delicious. Since we ate here our first night we were both tired from traveling and kept the meal short and sweet.
