Description: Kapi Kapi Restaurant is Manuel Antonio's choice for fine dining. Our Asian-influenced seafood, succulent steaks, and original dessert menu keep locals and tourists coming back again and again. Macadamia nut encrusted Mahi Mahi sound delicious? How about sugar cane skewered prawns with a tamarind, coconut, and rum glaze? Our fresh peppercorn-seared ahi tuna is to die for! Start with seafood cigars, our most popular appetizer and finish with the hot chocolate souffle! We are open daily 4pm-10pm on the main road to the park across from Pacific Colonial Condos and Tulemar resort.

We enjoyed the seafood cigars for app, tuna steak and vegetable pad Thai for our main courses. The tuna steak was very tasty and cooked perfectly as ordered. It was a bit pricey, but we thought Manuel Antonio overall was a pricey area. The wait staff was very attentive. There was a younger guy assisting our waiter, we enjoyed talking to him as he practiced his English. He was a sweet boy. The ambiance was pretty as well. We had a great evening at Kapi Kapi!

Food was amazing but bring your checkbook. Macadamian encrusted Mai Mai was amazing. Higher than what you would pay in Hawaii for same meal. But just as good.

Service was very good and friendly at Kapi Kapi, and we enjoyed the food, but it was a bit pricey. We shared an appetizer, had two entrees, one drink, one beer, and shared a dessert, and our bill was $100. We usually don't eat at such upscale spots when we travel to Costa Rica, but we were celebrating a special occasion and the atmosphere was very nice with dim lighting, candles, and tiny white lights. Our favorite item was the macadamia encrusted mahi mahi - very good. The menu skews Asian so it came with some nice stir-fried vegetables and jasmine rice. We also had the lobster ravioli which was good but not all that flavorful. I probably wouldn't go back for an average dinner, but for a birthday or anniversary, it's one of the nicer spots in Manuel Antonio and the atmosphere is great.

One of the best seafood meals I have had anywhere. The piece of tuna was huge and prepared perfectly. The flavors were absolutely perfect. Ambience and service were outstanding. And they bring you a French press of yummy Milagro when you order coffee after dinner.

The service was very friendly and a nice and romantic atmosphere. The macadamia crusted mahi mahi was fabulous and the chocolate molten cake to die for!! Spendy, but great.
