Our family spent a week at Villas Lirio and could not have been more pleased! The rooms were average, but the atmosphere made up for the few technical problems. Above all, the service was incredible! The employees were always helpful, available, and cheerful. Miguel was quick to our room whenever we needed him, and Eugene was a great host. The employees at the front desk offered great advice about the numerous activities nearby. The cooks were awesome; it's worth the wait! (We recommend the chicken quesadilla.) The hotel grounds and facilities were beautiful! The canopy of trees made it feel as if we were staying in the rainforest. A beautiful pool and recreation room, including a foosball and ping-pong table, only make the stay even more wonderful! Overall, we had a fantastic trip, and we definitely recommend this hotel for anyone ready for an authentic Costa Rican experience!

This hotel was a true three star hotel without an outrageous pricetag. The hotel is simply beautiful! Every space is asthetically pleasing from lovely woodwork, colorful paintings and fine art work, fantastic outdoor garden arrangements, a beautiful pool area and a spacious and lovely room. The staff here was the best of all of the hotels we visited during our 15 days in Costa Rica!! We wish we could stay longer with them...seriously. They helped us arrange a couple tours and advised us of great sites in the area. They greated us with our names and really were kind and professional. Also, the hotel has excellent secuity.

We booked this hotel solely because it was Easter week and there were no other vacancies in Manuel Antonio. We could find very little information about the hotel so we were not sure what to expect.

We were pleasantly surprised with Villas Lirio. Although it doesn't have a sea view, we found the grounds nice, the pool area is cute and the restaurant/bar is cool.

Due to a missed connection we ended up arriving really late at the hotel (around 3am). I called ahead from Atlanta airport to let them know and they left keys with the night security guy.

One thing to note is that English was not widely spoken by the staff and we seemed to be the only non-Ticas there (but it was Easter week). Still, we got by and the staff were pleasant.

Overall we were happy and it was just a few miles from Manuel Antonio National Park.
