“Beautiful beach”
Reviewed May 22, 2013

It was a great way to end our trip - spent that time on the beach our last afternoon in this area to watch the sun go down. You can rent chairs along the beach. Prices vary. Be careful who you pay and don't leave valuables alone on this beach.

“Overrated but enjoyable”
Reviewed May 20, 2013 via mobile

We decided to do this park with a guide to make sure we saw everything. Well we saw everything and it really wasn't much. The reason why I say that is because I've seen everything we saw in the park in doing other free activities. For example, I've seen howler monkeys in the trees of another hotel I'm staying at. The best part was probably the beach at the end of the park. But not worth paying $10 a person.

“Beautiful beach”

The beach was beautiful. We visited in May and there were not a lot of people. Monkeys and racoons try to steal peoples' bags and provide a lot of entertainment in the process!

“Fantastic”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

Fantastic park, this is the third time to Costa Rico and the third time to visit this park. This time we got to see the houlla big monkeys as well as the white faced ones, also a few squirrel monkeys. Sloths raccoons running rapid .You are not supposed to feed them but everybody does. and the monkeys are very funny and entertaining making for some good photo shots. A great family event. Take a picnic and a swimsuit as there is a place to stop at the beach inside the park.

“Magical Day!”
Reviewed May 19, 2013

Arrived at the Park a little before 9:00 a.m., paid our $10 pp, and headed into the park. We'd made the decision to not use a guide, but had binoculars and made sure we paid attention whenever we saw a crowd. We saw sloths, capuchin monkeys, raccoons, lizards, and even an elusive blue morpho butterfly. After walking the main trail there is a great optional hike that doesn't provide views of wildlife but does have great sea vistas - the Cathedral Trail. The beaches are great...note, Playa Espadilla Sur is much rougher than the beaches on the opposite side. There are bathrooms and showers located throughout the Park; taps are located everywhere too so just bring your water bottle and keep refilling it.
