“Try the Kyacks!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

I love the view from this beach. I have been coming here for years but the best view is out at the twin rocks with the surf and the fish or around the side of the national park. You can get to both of these on a kyack that you can rent at the beach along with snorkle gear. Tie up by the rocks or pay a little more and have one of the guides from the park go with you on their day off! It is super fun!

“Recommended!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

It was one of my favorite day trip in Costa Rica. The park is great. Lots of opportunities to observe wildlife. We got ropped into getting a guide with another family when we arrived. They charged us $70 for two of us, including park entry. It was a bit of rip-off. Our guide was nice, but he didn't know as much as other guides. Plus if you are a little adventurous, I would just recommend going on your own, and just observing the tour guides as they show wildlife to the people that paid them. Key is to open your eyes and listen to the nature sounds to spot monkeys, frogs, etc...
The beaches are great, water was very warm too. Just watch out for racoons as they will try to get into your bags...

“Gorgeous and relaxing.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2012 via mobile

Absolutely beautiful pristine beaches. It's a short walk to them and the view on the way to them are great.
Just need to watch out for the raccoons. But we saw iguanas and so many beautiful birds.
Clean and gorgeous. Only bummer is no alcoholic beverages inside. But it's still worth it.

“Paradise Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect tropical paradise beach. Especially coming from the city, my girlfriend and I couldn't get enough of just sitting on the beach, heading into the ocean and even trying surfing. Also in low season this place was really quite and that much more beautiful.
