“It used to be a nice place.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2012

It used to be a good place to be relaxed, enjoy the animals like monkey, iguanas, and a lot of animals in the park, but not anymore.

The place is crowed, a lot of local people trying to get some dollars just for giving you basic info or trying to charge you for an space in one of the PUBLIC parking lots.

The beaches inside the park are OK, pretty much the same as outside, but less crowed.

“beautiful beach”

Very nice white sand beach inside the national park. Very clean and uncrowded, we felt safe leaving our packs unattened while we strolled around.

“Day Trip Tour of Manuel Antonio”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2012

Very informative guide. We enjoyed our walk through the rain forest. Were hoping to see more monkeys than we saw, but not our guides fault. We saw a lot of what was along the trail. The guide has great eyes to spot them and answers any questions that were asked with much knowledge. Enjoyed the beach time at the end of the tour and walked to town for an included lunch that was very good.

“Playa monte verde”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 19, 2012

Amazing beach with amazing sunset. The bus to beach is 500 colones , but it is possible to walk if you are staying in any of the hotels near by. From la colina hotel is 25 min walk and a lot of monkeys can be found on the way to the beach.
