Our family ate here one evening and it was amazing. The fish, fries, onion rings, and cole slaw were all very tasty and fresh. We felt the prices of the food were extremely reasonable for the amazing food we ate. We are bringing the rest of our family back before we head home.

Nice little place but we were there early evening and there was no table that wasn't in the sun. Very nice service by a Tica Lady with great English. Fish sandwhich was fresh and hot. Onion ring and fries were really good. A bit less bread and bit more fish would be better.
Wish they served light beer and not just regular. I would still go back and try fish n chips, but not before the sun goes down.

We had the fried snapper and onion rings which were both good, maybe just a little on the greasy side. The slaw was great. It would be a bit more enjoyable if the seating were not down below the street. But for the price you can't beat it.

As i bit into a DELICIOUS fish taco i began to think it was all to good to be true… and it was. The owner of this establishment is one CRAZY man. He claims to be a x-professor at UofT but he is really an alcoholic who sits and stares and people dining and then starts drunken fights when he doesn't agree with casual conversation. It got so weird we didn't enjoy the food. He legitimately started a debate that was completely one-sided. He would leave yelling "NO NO NO NO" and then return saying things like "How about this… IM AN ATHIEIST JEW…" Some of our friends even left… and not to mention his girlfriend was clearly unhappy and enraged about his alcoholic rants…. so freckin weird. Motto for this place was "come here for the tacos not the conversation…"
we all suggest getting take out.

Well, we all remember these two evenings when you and your friends enjoyed the food at our restaurant. I will resist responding to the malicious and personal attacks in your review.

However, our local drunks, one of whom you spoke to the second night you came to the restaurant, is not the best source of information about me. So, to clarify:

the owner, many years ago, was teaching in a college, but never at U of T
the owner, many years ago, was enrolled at U of T but never worked there, and
the owner has his own table in the restaurant, often with a delicious local beer called Imperial on it. Indeed most of our patrons, who like you, return to our restaurant after their first visit, appreciate the attention of the owner to the business and its clients. It would be rather difficult to run a restaurant from the parking lot...

If you decide to offer scathing reviews in the future, please get your facts straight.
