Reviewed April 17, 2014

We found this small restaurant here, on tripadvisor, and when we was in Manuel Antonio, we go for a dinner. We have pitty, because it was full, so better is to have reservation. We made it for next day and I can say, that this was one of the best food I ever had. We made reservation also for next day :) i have perfect tuna with sesam, and next day raviolli stuffed with spinach and ricotta - wow! And other superltives - deserts!!!! Best panacotta and brownieeee, oh that was sooo great!!! I can recommend, don't try to visit another restaurant, :)

“We went back because it was so good!”
Reviewed April 13, 2014

We had two great meals at Gondola. I have never been one to order a pasta seafood entree. The chef prepares an incredible fettuccine seafood dish served in foil that we will never forget. The the octopus ceviche was out of this world and enjoyed by even those who are not ceviche or octopus eaters. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The chef came to our table and went through the menu with us and made some great recommendations.

“Wish we found it earlier!”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

Our last night we finally made it to Gondola. After a less than great meal the night before next door at Gaia, we made reservations. With no expectations we were surprised to drive a short way off the road into a small restaurant. Open air kitchen, friendly helpful staff and true Italian food to please you. The menu is not big, but its well planned. The brushetta is fresh and very flavorful. I had the ravioli's which were outstanding. Nice wine list to accompany your meal. Had the grilled pineapple with ice cream for dessert. Everything was way above expectations. can't wait to go back there again.

“Family run with excellent food.”
Reviewed April 5, 2014

We ate at Gondola no less than 3 times during our month long stay in Manuel Antonio, and that tells you something.
It is entirely unpretentious and relaxed, and being so I am unsure as to why the word 'goumet' would appear in their name. But it does have a convivial atmosphere, great margharitas and freshly prepared food, all at a reasonable price.
We particularly liked the chateaubriand 'style' beef that just melted in your mouth, and the simple but excellent fresh lobster served with pasta.
When busy there can be a wait, but to their credit they did warn us of this on the one occassion we went when they were completely full.

“Gondola prepares the best food by far !!”
Reviewed April 4, 2014

People, I live here in Manuel Antonio, I have been to almost every existing restaurant and café and I can tell you, Gondola stands apart as the best food available. We had 2 appetizers and 2 pasta dishes. Honestly, we were amazed. From the escargot to the spaghetti mariscos, everything was superb. Easily the best meal I have ever had in Costa RIca.
