“Lovely seafood restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2014

After a day in the national park we accidentally dropped by at Emilio's. Not expecting a lot because we didn't check the reviews or travel guides. But we were positively surprised by the great food. The quality of the seafood and taste were extraordinary good. We therefore recommend this restaurant to everyone. It also has a nice open terrace with great view on the bay of Manuel Antonio. Very good service and nice location.

“Excellent food quality, perfect view”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2014

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Emilio's, which is walking distance to several hotels on the main drag in Manuel Antonio. The host/waiter made sure we got a table on the edge of the patio for the best view of the sunset, as soon as it was available. The menu was varied and included some Italian and Asian influences in addition to fresh seafood and traditional, local cuisine. The baked goods were tasty, as expected based on the reviews. My only complaint is that the waiter kept trying to up-sell us on things, and he automatically gave us bottled water when we asked for water instead of offering tap (which we later saw other customers enjoying for free).

“Great food!”

Bring cash, they don't take credit. Generous portions and great service. The entrees were excellent. Dessert was just okay.

“Best breakfast in ALL if Costa Rica”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2014 via mobile

The Ticos do it right. Breakfast should come with desert and it will jump start your day. The food is flat out awesome! The scenery is unparalleled! The coffee is dynamic! This is one of the best places to grab breakfast that we have ever been to. The inside decorum is a little odd with pictures of women with AK47s but that did not retract from their food. For all we knew, those armed silhouette heroins were guarding their chef and their spectacular creations! An absolute must!

“Good lunch spot”

We came here twice since it was convenient located to Tulemar where we were staying. Good sandwiches and tasty juice smoothies.
