I want to go back to Manuel Antonio just to go back to this cafe again! We had the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake and wow! Amazing! Owner so friendly, great service, great place!

“What a GREAT cafe!”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

A charming cafe, with an equally charming staff. The food is refreshing, clean, healthy, and made with care and love.
An outstanding view awaits you on the rear balcony.
I live in Manuel Antonio, and this cafe has never disappointed.
Also, this has the nicest restroom in all of Central America. Most bathrooms are here are horrifying.

“Great Variety!”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

There is a little of everything on Emilio's menu. I had salmon with lemon butter and asparagus, my brother had a margarita pizza, and my sister had a caprese sandwich with chicken. It also had great pasta sides and melt-in-your-moth desserts that had us there every night for a whole week!

“Good food and a friendly owner”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

We ha heard about this place from the people wth stayed with in Mount Chirripo, and they were right. The fish dishes were well-prepared, as was the salmon wrap and pasta. We also had some deliciously roasted coffee on the insistance of the owner, who we had fun chatting with after our meal. They work hard to get locally roasted coffee from small-scale producers. Gracias, Emilio!

“Excellent Food and Dessert!”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

We came here for lunch one day because so many people had written about their desserts. They were right!! We had the key lime pie and espresso chocolate mousse cake - delicious! I came back later that night to try their peanut butter mousse cake, which was stellar!!! And the food was excellent too - we had sandwiches on a really nice, fresh bread. So good! Definitely check it out if you're in the area!
