This well located hotel has very big and well equipted rooms and great roof balcony, pool and very good food both in the restaurant and room service. On the other hand, it has poor WiFi in the rooms, short of parking places, narrow stairs lead to the room and to the roof bar. Some house rules are miserly - happy hour at the bar does not offer any of the cocktails in the menu. The staff were most friendly and helpful.

I stayed here about a week ago for 3 nights and was really impressed by the level of customer service and the views of this hotel! The rooms were very clean and the pool area was amazing as you could see two different views of the ocean! The food was amazing, especially the a la carte breakfast menu. Thanks to all the La Mansion Inn staff members, including chris (even though we didnt speak same language, he did teach me some spanish though) Thanks for a great experience!

This place is awesome! Was the perfect place to end our honeymoon (we kind of hopped around Costa Rica!) The view from our room was AMAZING, waking up to it everyday was the best. We spent our days at the pool bar and the hot tub. So fun. The infinity pool looking out over the water was just beautiful. Make sure you visit the Bat Cave Bar :) oh and of course, a day trip to Manuel Antonio.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and we could not have been happier! We stayed in Penthouse 4/Room 26. There was a decent sized balcony that looked out over the ocean where we spent quite a bit of time. There were windows all along the other side of the room which looked out over the nearby trees and where we often found Howler Monkeys hanging out right off the hotel premises. From the balcony we were able to spot Macaws and Tucans just about every evening. The pool area is beautiful and has a nice patio area with tables and lounge chairs and the bartender will bring you up drinks. Happy hour is everyday from 5-6 and we never missed it, the view is amazing and you can't miss the sunsets! We also saw Capuchin monkeys 3 different occasions in the pool area! They were up in the trees and came down to drink water off the tables and run around with their babies on their backs. There was one day where we saw Capuchin monkeys, Howler monkeys, an iguana, AND a sloth from the pool area. You literally do not have to leave the hotel or search around for these critters, it was great!

The beach is not super close but they have a shuttle running 4 times a day that will bring you down there. There is also a gravel path nearby that you can walk to get to the beach which is what we did since we wanted to see as much wildlife as possible and get some exercise. It is probably a 20-25 minute walk or so if you're actually walking....I'm not quite sure but it wasn't anything crazy. We took our time to check out the monkeys and birds so it ended up taking us around 45-60 minutes....again, not quite sure since we weren't really checking the time ever during our trip. Once you get to the beach you can take a left to get to a nearby town where you can rent an umbrella/chairs and there are people who will bring you down food and drinks which is pretty sweet (of course it costs money...but totally worth it!). There are a couple restaurants and bars here as well as a supermarket and a couple little souvenir shops. Taxi's from here back to the hotel were $8.

The food here is AMAZING!! It is a bit on the pricier side...I think the cheapest option was a pasta dish which was $18, most options were $20-$22. We ate here the first night then said we would eat in the town the rest of the nights to save money...then we tasted their food and realized how delicious it was! We honestly ate here every single night haha. Their breakfast is also perfection, we never missed a breakfast!!

The service was great. Marvin was our usual server in the evenings and he was so attentive and always nearby if we needed a water or wine refill...as was Roy (spelling??)! He was the bartender outside some nights and also worked at the restaurant and he was the best!! He was also pretty much our tour guide and made sure to point out all the monkeys around at the pool and took the time to show us a very hard to see sloth, we wouldn't have spotted him without him! Everyone there is quite wonderful and they all take their time to make sure you are comfortable and feel right at home.

You will not regret staying at this hotel!!

I couldn't say more about this hotel! I'm a little picky about cleanliness and the room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable and there was great water pressure. We had room #3 which was superb and had a private balcony/sitting area with an excellent ocean view of Manuel Antonio beach. My husband and I are vegetarians, and the on-site restaurant had some delicious options for us. Although the accommodations and food were delicious, I would have to say the best part was the service. At the end of our four-day stay, I felt like I was part of a family. The staff was incredibly attentive and we were treated with the highest respect and kindness. Werner, the manager, went above and beyond for us, and our favorite waiter, Josue, was the most courteous, attentive, kind waiter that I have ever met. I highly recommend La Mansion Inn and would love to stay there again.
