What a wonderful vacation. We stayed in the hotels casitas so we had both floors and a small kitchen. Our casita opened to the pool. There were wonderful paths and a jungle trail right on the property. We left our room every morning and ran right into wildlife, iguanas, coatis, birds, frogs, monkeys and more. The hotel staff was extremely helpful in every way. We enjoyed coming back from a daily adventure and having a wonderful drink at happy hour with the pleasant bartenders and waiters. The breakfast every morning was a great start to the day.
What could have been better were the linens on the bed. They were a bit worn and uncomfortable but the towels and maid staff were excellent. The kitchen was not well stocked with items but we didn't need much to have snacks and a few simple dinners. Restaurants were a short walk in either direction (in addition to the hotels restuarant).
The accomodations worked well for our family with tweens/teens. We walked to the beach several days and made it to all of the local attractions. A wonderful country and Casitas Eclipse was a comfortable place to stay.
