“Great location, unexpected food, but very good”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

They say they have Tex-Mex, well as a native texan I think I know exactly what tex-mex food is, and it isn't what they are serving here, but it was still very good. Keep an open mind. The nachos for example come with lettuce, more like a taco salad on chips, but not exactly. It still was very good. They had a lot of other types of food on the menu as well, but I cannot comment on that as we only ordered off the tex-mex side of the menu, because after eating costa rican food for 8 days, we wanted some spice. Just remember to order jalepenos, and that helps. Nice location, great sunset view!

“Great location, ok food.”
Reviewed March 23, 2014

We had lunch and snacks at the Marlin.Tthe food was ok. I think that we had the bruschetta, vegetarian burrito, and vegetarian quesadilla. All the food was fine, not bad and not great.
We had a few mixed drinks and they were good. the restaurant has a great location, so mostly come for that! It is right on the beach. You can't beat the location.

“Casual Fun Dining Across from Beach”
Reviewed March 21, 2014

Had a late lunch here of smoothies and fish tacos -- prices better than restaurant right below and fish was fresh and delicious. Restaurant is upstairs so peek-a-boo view of beach. Great for casual lunch. Didn't order a salad but saw one that looked amazing being delivered to table near ours. Waitstaff nice; service slow paced. Would eat here again for location, price, and freshness of our meal.

“Convenient, good view, price, food”
Reviewed March 20, 2014

Right off the beach in the commercial section of ManAntonio, so convenient to jump off the beach and get a bite. Good food, fair price, can be slow as is tipico. The staffs from nearby hotels order carry outs from here. Tells you something.

“Perfect Location, Good Food”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

We ate here one night for dinner, having a seafood platter, one time for lunch having a big fruit plate, and once for a fruit plate snack after touring the national park. It's true that the service is slow, but, we found the service slow everywhere we went while in Costa Rica. I think they believe we should sit, talk and relax a little more. Anyway, the location was great and the food was very good and fresh. Although the service was slow, they were attentive when they came around! And, they sell really cool t-shirts.
