“Great find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 5, 2014

This restaurant was recommended by one of the staff at the hotel we were staying at. Owner is a guy named "Bo" from Montana!! Really a very charming guy and greets you as you enter the open front to this small little restaurant. I had ribs and they were really good. Bo enjoys visiting with folks and obviously loves his new home. Service was excellent. Check it out for sure.

“Simply a must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014

We like eating where the "locals" go and enjoy "their" food. This place has great atmosphere and local flavor. Most astonishing...American owned. Great story so talk to Bo, he's always there. Went there twice while in the area. Red snapper was incredible as were the ribs. Stop reading and just go!! It's typical open air so dress appropriate.

"Stop reading and just go!! It's typical open air so dress appropriate." Gracias mi amigo! Mucho Gracias! Thank you for a wonderful review! As we have a wonderful climate here in CR our restaurant is open air like most all "Typical" Restaurants. All our recipes are Costa Rican, all of our ingredients are farm fresh.

We are pretty laid back around here! Hope to see you again!

“Great food and super casual ambience.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2014

Second visit and better than the first. Food is delicious, like home cooking. My whole red snapper was so yummy. A good family restaurant. Prices are reasonable considering the rest of the area's prices have skyrocketed in the last two years. I highly recommend.

“Grilled whole fish & yummy juices!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 12, 2014 via mobile

Great restaurant and friendly staff!

We really enjoyed both of our meals there and appreciated the service and attention we received!

Top picks were the whole grilled fish, which is barbecued to order! And the fish was freshly caught that day!

“Real Costa Rico Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2014

Enjoyed the food and service. We went the first night in town and did not know that tip and taxes included in bill, so paid an extra tip. Was not happy next day when discovered that all resturaunts include tip and taxes in bill.

We are so happy you enjoyed our food and service. And I Hope you had wonderful time in Costa Rica. Yes all of our prices on the menu include the 13% sales tax that is implemented on all sales in Costa Rica. And on all of our checks we add a 10% for the waiter and is listed as "Servicio" I apologize you missed that, as indicated on our menu.
