My husbands favorite meal of our trip. Local, one of owners speaks fairly good English so you can get by, the gentleman who was also owner was friendly and we enjoyed it very much. Be prepared for no air conditioning, it's covered but open air, however, still our favorite dining experience of our trip.

Down a dirt road near El Mono Azul between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Seating is on a covered patio with fans to cool off customers. My food wasn't great but others seemed to enjoy theirs. The vegetarian plate was mostly rice with some beans, salad, plantains, and mixed vegetables that had pork in it.

We visited this place a few times, once for food and the other times for drinks. They serve wine and beer and the women that run the restaurant were very attentive to us.

We ate food one time, and I ordered the fish fajitas, which I thought was average compared to all the other food we had while visiting the area. The others in our group ordered other items which they enjoyed very much.

I would stop in at least for a drink if you are in the area.

the ladies there were just watching the mummy and they werent very attentive. though we were the only ones there it would have been nice if they would have paid attention to us and we would have ordered more than one drink.

eventhoug we were the only two guest, the owner couple looked after us very very good. we just told them we would like to get costa rica traditional food (vegetarian) and they served us a delicious meal. two cute little doggs warmed our feeds while eating. very recommendable.
