We did two tours with Mario - the Manuel Antonio morning tour and the night time Rainmaker Tour. Both tours were excellent - but the night time tour was truly unique and the favorite of our family. If you are in Quepos areas for 3-4 days - do both tours.
Manuel Antonio Tour: Manuel Antonio is a busy place, so that detracts from the whole jungle experience....however, we saw 3 types of monkeys, tree sloths, lizards, hummingbirds, snakes and Mario spotted all of them, described them, and even took pictures of them(which he shares with you).
Rainmaker tour: Walking through the jungle at night with no other people in the park makes this tour awesome. Seeing poisonous snakes, spiders, glass frogs while clutching your flashlight is thrilling. Walking across the suspension bridges at night is exhilirating. Seeing a Jaguar up close at night is lucky, very lucky.
Thanks Mario for making our Costa Rica trip memorable!
