This place was very cheap stay (12 dollars per person). The food was alot amd reasonable price. Especially compared to other restaurants just down the road. The rooms are small and cold showers but its what you get with what you oay for. So realky good for the price

We did not stay at the hotel but had several breakfasts and dinners and the terasa restaurant in front of the hotel. The breakfast (just 2000 colones) is nourishing and tasty and boosts you for a full day at Manuel Antonio park. The meals served at dinner are simple but very tasty.
The staff at the restaurant is very friendly!
Pura vida!

We did not stay at the hotel, but ate breakfast there 4 times! For $4 you get a typical Tico breakfast of 2 plates! including fresh fruit. Must add a fruit drink! Oscar is wonderfully fiendly. Very close to the beach.

Perhaps locks on the (very low, look-overable) toilet doors was just an expense too far for this hostel. To describe the accommodation as basic would be an understatement but at these prices you can't complain when you're just a coconut's throw from the national park. You get a bed and a sheet. That's it. Bring your own towels and soap because they are not provided even at extra cost. Tip - there is a soap dispenser in the bar! I couldn't stay there longer than a couple of nights because I was fed up of dripping dry and the anxiety of whether someone was going to open the door to the loo while I was in there! However, if you can put up with these inconveniences it's a budget traveller's dream. There's a lovely convivial atmosphere in the fairylit bar as 80s power ballad videos play on the TV and the staff are all lovely. And the breakfast. Ah, yes that breakfast. It was so good and so cheap that even after we had changed hotels in search of a towel we still came by every morning to partake.

The rooms are really foggy and smelly and dusty. The matrasses are bed as well are the pillows. They only have two toilets without a lock and two cold showers. This place only got high reviews because of the restaurant. I would not recommend this place to sleep.
