“Amazing service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 13, 2014

We were staying nearby so followed trip advisor advice and came here for happy hour sunset cocktails and were very glad we did. We were in our shorts and the hotel looked quite posh so were worried we would be scoffed at but the place was very relaxed and staff were amazingly nice. A big thumbs up for service, and the cocktails were amazing and very professionally made.

We are so thrilled that you got the chance to visit us on your recent stay in the Manuel Antonio area.

Thank you for your mention of our mojito. We have a very special recipe and our staff know how to do this cocktail very, very well.

We serve excellent cocktails each night starting at 4 PM with live Latin music starting at 5 PM. And the best news is that our Happy Hour drinks and wine are all discounted during this period.

Your sharing of your wonderful experience means a lot to us and we look forward to seeing you once again on our property.

“One of the best overall dining experiences I have ever had, ever”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2014

We arrived at the restaurant at 5pm and were immediately astounded by the breathtaking sunset view (the westward wall is completely open and overlooks the Pacific Ocean and surrounding mountains) and warm friendly service. They have a 2 for 1 drink special and an incredibly reasonably priced tapas menu. After the sun set (GORGEOUS) we moved from the lounge area to a table for dinner.

The food was out of this world good. EVERY bit was moan worthy. We ordered the chef salad, vegetable soup, mahi mahi, seared tuna, mushroom risotto, and ceviche. Between each course we were brought zucchini appetizer and passion fruit sorbet. On the house. The service was look that I would expect from a fancy French restaurant. Our servers were so friendly, named were David and Mario and the food was made by chef Mikey. Would come back every day. So thankful to have come here and WILL recommend La Luna to every one interested in coming to CR.

What a wonderful review of our La Luna Restaurant.

Thank you so much for choosing our La Luna. We are thrilled that your experience was flawless.

Indeed our food and service is top-notch and very unique for the local environment. And the views for sunset are the very best around the entire Manuel Antonio area.

We love guests coming around 5 PM to listen to our live Latin music each each night and while enjoying our 2x1 cocktails and tapas.

Thank you for sharing your experience on this TripAdvisor forum.

“Top notch all around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2014

Perched high on a hill with great views of the area. Service was superb. Cocktails were only so-so, too sweet. The squash and papaya soup was very good. Ceviches and fresh fish entrees were great. A good wine list, with OK prices, a little high. All around, one of the best meals to be had in the area.

Thanking our recent guests for their 5 star review of our La Luna Restaurant.

We are so happy your overall experience was top-notch.

We do indeed have the best views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding rainforest being perched on top of Gaia Mountain.

Our cocktails are all made fresh with only natural ingredients. Nature provides the best sweetness in our fruits which translates into a very natural tasting cocktail.

Thank you for taking your personal time to share with others on this TripAdvisor forum.

“My favorite meal in Manuel Antonio”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2014

This was my favorite meal in Manuel Antonio and I only wish I could have gone again during the day to see what I hear are spectacular views. We had a reservation and went in the evening. The food was just excellent from start to finish. Extensive drink menu and wine list. Wonderful ceviche appetizer, great fish specials and dessert. The service is top notch and was fine dining without being too fussy. They had a soul/r&b singer perform and she was AWESOME. My favorite night in CR

We are thrilled that our recent guest loved their experience at our La Luna Restaurant.

As good as the evening atmosphere is with the open air surrounding the restaurant, the views during the day for lunch and sunset happy hour are just spectacular.

Did I mention our 2x1 cocktails, fabulous tapas and live Latin music every night?

We often have guest performers and the evening you attended we had one classy event that is repeated several times per year.

Thank you for sharing your exceptional experience on this TripAdvisor forum.
