“Spectacular meal”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

We stayed at another property but ended up eating at La Luna for dinner one night. The meal was perfection. The drinks were amazing. The view was stunning. The service was impeccable. And to top it off, I mentioned to the waiter that I really liked one of the sauces that came with a dish, and five minutes later he returns with a printout of the recipe for the sauce.

The meal at La Luna was on par, if not better than, many New York City restaurants. Not to be missed.

We love guests from other hotels that rave about our cuisine, service and ambiance.

Thank you so much for your kind words. We are happy you had such a great time and the comparison to New York restaurants was what we indeed strive for in terms of the quality, service and attentiveness of our staff.

Hopefully we will see you in the not too distant future and safe travels in the interim.

“Perfection”
Reviewed June 9, 2013

I dine out a lot, it does not matter if I'm home or traveling. I've been to Gaia several times and I'm reminded each time why I come back. La Luna not only boasts an incredible menu, the views are breathtaking. Breakfast (which is included with your stay) is an experience in and of itself. Wonderful coffee, a variety of items to choose from on the menu and part of the experience includes fresh cut fruits and fresh baked pastries.

The evening starts with cocktails and tapas at the bar for the magical sunset followed by 5-star cuisine for dinner. I've never had food here that I would deem anything short of DELICIOUS. My new favorite after my trip last week is the Panko & Ginger crusted fresh tuna; a marvel.

The staff is courteous and it doesn't seem to matter how long it has been since your last visit, they greet you by name.

If you're staying at Gaia, La Luna is a must and if you're passing through Manuel Antonio it's worth a stop.

“A perfect place for happy hour with a sunset view”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

My husband and I recently moved to the Quepos area and have quickly made La Luna at Gaia our go-to spot for happy hour drinks and tapas. You really can't beat the delicious drinks and fancy tapas at this amazing resort. Toss in a great deal (Mojitos for $3.50, Margs for $5, Beer for $2, tapas for $2-5) and you have yourself an amazing place. Dinner is definitely pricey, but that is to be expected at a classy place with good food and a gorgeous view. The staff is also super nice and always smiling.

Thanking our recent guests for their very kind review.

Our happy hour daily from 4-6 PM is a local favorite and we are very glad indeed that you have discovered us.

Gaia and our La Luna Restaurant will celebrate our 7th year anniversary this August and we have long been established as an institution in the Manuel Antonio/Quepos area.

We look forward to your return where we can again entertain you with our nightly Latin music band and our great value tapas and 2x1 cocktails.

Thank you for sharing on this TripAdvisor forum.

“Great Value, Amazing Service”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

My wife and I recently moved to Manuel Antonio and have been to Gaia several times for both dinner and happy hour. The happy hour has 2-for-1 drinks and tapas that are between $2 and $4 each, which is a pretty good value, especially given the amazing views. The servers are also fantastic and remember us every time we visit. Dinners are a little on the pricier side, but the food was excellently prepared. I would definitely recommend for a sunset drink and tapas or a fancy night out on the town!
