One of the highlights of a 2 week long vacation.

The trip is a total blast! Thrilling with gorgeous scenery and perfect water temperatures.

The guide on our raft was Nacho, and he was a ton of fun. He seemed like a real master of the river, always in control of the situation, and always having our saftey in mind.

Also, they brought along a photographer who snaps pics and sells them at the end of the day. Not a scam. The photos were great! There were hundreds of them, and we absolutley could not stop laughing reliving the experience when viewing them.

A must-do activity in Costa Rica's Pacific Coast!

My five girlfriends and I booked with Quepoa for an all day rafting trip. It was too fun. Brad(the owner of the company) and Bill arrived promptly at our hotel at our pick up time. We had fabulous conversations and a great drive to the site, stopping to see plants, fruits and animals. Once we arrived at the river, we were given equipment and thorough instructions. The trip was great. We rafted over several rapids and stopped by an amazing waterfall. Afterward we went to a great outdoor restaurant for lunch (prices were included in the tour). Though each of us fell out of the raft (including Brad) and several of us had bruises and sunburnt knees, this was one of our more memorable experiences on the trip. Thank you Brad and the rest of the crew at Quepoa Expeditions!!

Brad and his guides provide a first class adventure! We took the half day rafting adventure and had a blast. Three out of four of us had never rafted before. If you have the time, take the 6 hour tour from further up the river. They will pick you up at your hotel and drive you in a comfortable van to your starting point. On our shorter tour, we got to walk through an organic spice farm, tasting the various spices from trees and plants. The guides are tremendous and do a great job of instructing you on just what to do. A delicious snack is provided to refresh you midway. These guys are truly dedicated to providing you with your money's worth! The photos they take for you are first-class, so it is definitely worth buying the photo CD! Thanks to all the great guys at Quepoa Expeditions.

Brad and his team were great! He is a relocated American so spoke English, and the majority of his guides did as well, which made booking the trip and understanding the pre-trip instructions a non-issue. We did the 1/2 day trip down the Savegre which was perfect for first time rafters, and if you have some experience, opt for the ducky; the Class III rapids will provide more than enough thrills. This river has a waterfall about 2/3rds through, which is beautiful and provides a good break in the action. I aslo can't say enough about the lunch that was provided. I was definitely skeptical but the food was great! Go with the chicken and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Brad and his company made sure we had the best time possible without ever feeling an ounce of fear for our safety. The section of river that we rafted was pretty intense, but he always had a plan in place to ensure that we would be fine in case something went awry. Not only was the river incredibly fun and exciting, but the views along the canyon were breathtakingly beautiful. I would definitely raft with Brad and Quepoa Expeditions if I'm even lucky enough to return to Manuel Antonio.
