“Nice Tour Guide - Tons of Animals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

Had about 8 people in our group. Our guide has a high powered scope we all looked through to see the far away animals. Saw a 3 toed Sloth up close and personal and tons of monkeys and birds. Learned a lot about animal behavior and plants in the area.

One of the most beautiful beaches in the world!!

“2 great tours!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

My wife and I went on the Damas Mangrove tour led by Juan and a private guided tour of the Park led by Pablo. Both were fantastic! Juan was great explaining all of the wildlife we encountered and quickly answered all questions thrown at him. Juan's English was very good and he has a great personality for leading as a guide. We even talked about life and politics in a light and humorous way which was also very interesting. Mostly, his knowledge, experience and passion of the natural area was fantastic. We saw many birds, Capuchin and howler monkeys, bats, Iguanas, a boa constrictor and even a silky anteater. I thought the boat trip down the mangrove was beautiful and had a remote tropical feel to it. All in all, this was a really nice enjoyable trip and Juan helped to make it just that. At the end of the trip, we visted Pablo's for a home cooked fish dinner that was quite nice. We would highly recommend Manuel Antonio expeditions for this trip.

Trip # 2 was led by Pablo. He picked us up at 7a.m. and guided us through Manuel Antonio National park. Pablo was thorough in his explanations and stopped to show us everything from trees, spiders, frogs, sloths, Capuchins, Howlers. Pablo took his time in his explanations and also speaks very good English. We asked Pablo many questions about the park, the wildlife and overall life in CR and he was very informative. We had a great walk through the park, learned alot and can't wait to go back. If you want to learn and see as much as possible, a guide is the way to go. You can also enjoy the park without a guide but will be a lot less informed and you will have experienced a lesser amount of the nature in the Park. Pablo is an excellent guide and we highly recommend hiring him for this trip.

“Great park tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

We had a fun tour of the park with Juan this weekend. We opted for a group tour, and the group size was good -- 9 adults and 4 kids. Juan speaks English very well, and he spotted lots of wildlife and gave us information on animal behavior and ecology. He is great at taking photos with your camera through his scope. He took some excellent photos this way for us. Hazel in the office was efficient and helpful to us in booking the tour. Juan picked us up at our hotel on time and in a comfortable van. He gave us recommendations on other activities in the area -- through his company and otherwise. All in all -- a great experience.

“Pablo is THE guide to choose in Manuel Antonio!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent tour of Manuel Antonio Park with Pablo. Not only did he find all the best animals for us with his quality scope, but his bright personality added to the fun. He was very knowledgable and had great stories to hold our interest. If you're planning to visit the park, definitely choose a tour with Pablo. You will get so much more out of the experience. Highly recommended!

“costa rica trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Pabalo was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He really enjoys his job and found all kinds of animals for us. The monkeys were the highlight of our Mango trip. If you go to Costa Rica make sure you call them as they are the best.
