Open early so you get a chance to have great coffee and breakfast before an excursion. It's also very nice in the evenings for dinner with great food and some music.

We live in Southern CA and our family recently went to Costa Rica. We stayed in Manual Antonio and dined at a number of restaurant. By far the best restaurant that we went to was Cafe Milagro. The food and coffee is nothing short of excellent. On the other hand, the servers were not that great since they were not very attentive to our family. Seating is limited. We look forward to going back. We have since ordered the best coffee that I ever tasted and that is without exaggeration.

Thank you for the wonderful recommendation and for continuing to order coffee online! We have been roasting coffee for almost 20 years and are incredibly proud of Cafe Milagro. It's an honor to continue shipping it to you. We are super sorry to hear you did not find the servers attentive to your family. We simply do not have an excuse and our goal is to always give stellar service. We did have a few days where we were short-handed, and while no excuse, it happened and we are sorry to did not receive the love from us that you and your family deserved. We look forward to having another opportunity to impress you!

Food very good. Waitress a bit terse. Not a lot of folks there to deal with so she must not be a morning person. Wife had veggie omelet which was very good as well. Coffee and juice. 2 croissant sandwiches for about 20k local.

So glad you hear you enjoyed the food, we use only local, fresh ingredients. We are bummed to hear your server was terse. If you're comfortable letting us know which morning you visited we could address it more directly. We have a great team and while we cannot be perfect we are always in the pursuit of it!

We went here first with our 3 teenagers and liked it so much, my husband and I went back by ourselves a later night and enjoyed another great meal and live music in a casual setting. There's no ocean view, but if you're going after dark, it doesn't matter anyway.

Cafe Milagro came to us highly recommended, however we ended up disappointed in the food. We both ordered the Tico breakfast (scrambled eggs and rice&beans), and I was shocked by the blandness of the food...it literally had no flavor! Not the eggs or the rice & beans. Nothing! Not at all what I was expecting from the good reviews. I've had this type of breakfast before many many times across Costa Rica, and its normally the best breakfast ever...yummy, flavorful and filling. You wouldn't know it by having the one at Cafe Milagro. Such a shame.

The cafe itself is very charming, the back patio is super cute in the daytime and at night they have lights strung up, which provides a lovely accent. The night we stopped in they also had some live music, which was nice. They have a decent selection of wines by the glass and the free wifi is also a plus. Just wish the food had been better, especially for the price. Big portions but lack of flavor doesn't equal an amazing meal in my opinion. Did not live up to all the hype.

Thank you for dropping in during your stay. We're sorry to hear you didn't find the typical breakfast to have enough flavor, that is certainly not our intention and we usually receive such great compliments for our flavorful and healthy food. We wish you would have said something to your server and we would have gladly given it another shot in order to impress!
