We recently took this tour in Manual Antonio. If you like to cook, this tour is for you. Gisela & her son led us on a great culinary adventure.

We learned so much about bio-dynamic farming, the growing of all types of spices and the highlight of the tour was tasting some of the spices in different things like cheesecake, cookies, tea etc. The spices are all so fresh and taste completely different than in Canada.

We felt is was a great use of a 1/2 day in the area and would recommend the tour. Gisela & her son did an excellent job leading a very interesting tour!

Thank Cheryl K

Nice Tour-Educational and really great samples at the end. Our group was too large to hear and see all that was going on. Nice tour guide. Bring Cash-no Credit Cards A bit pricey-I think $30 a piece would be better.

I have to confess I balked at first but it was so worth while. Our tour guide was Roy. Wow! What an amazing kid. Really knows the information and delivers it in an interesting manner. He's very passionate about the work there. Beautiful place and yummy tasting.

This was a fun tour with a good guide. Learned a lot about spices and organic farming. There were about 20 people in our group which was a bit too large. We had trouble hearing the guide all the way in the front. The samples at the end of tour were absolutely delicious! We were able to purchase spices at the end of tour but make sure you bring cash as they do not accept credit cards. I feel this was a little over priced as well, but you can save a bit but booking yourself by email or phone instead of booking through your hotel. They did offer pick up and drop off at your hotel.

This is a wonderful tour to experience a bit of the culture. Even the drive out to the farm is an experience in itself. The tour guide was very informative with all the spices available, I really learned a few things that day. And the desserts that were served afterwards were incredible. The cheesecake was to die for. Its well worth a few hours of your time.
