“Cool and Delicious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2009

We loved this place. Totally open air, delicious and reasonably priced food. We had dinner there so it was dark at the time. If you are there for lunch the view of the canyon below and Pacific beyond would be fantastic.
Good old 'South Carolina' hospitality (the owner).
Highly recommended.

“Delicious food and great service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2009

Even though you can't make reservations and we had a short wait, it was worth it. The drinks were very good as well as the meal and desserts. The couple that own it are very hospitable. I had a delcious skewer of chicken that included bacon wrapped banana slices. It made a great combination. My mom loved the banana bread pudding.

“Excellent food and views - good value too!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2009

Our family of 6 visited Cafe Agua Azul on the way out of town on our last day of our trip and it was great. It's not your typical Costa Rican food, but we were hungry for American food after 10 days without and so it really delivered. There are big portions and all was prepared so well. I was surprised that there were lots of Tex-mex food options there and was pleasantly suprised at how good it was. The views are fantastic and the breeze coming off the ocean makes this outdoor cafe very comfortable. The service was very good. The waitress noticed our very hungry children and brought us out complimentary chips, salsa and guacamole (which is EXCELLENT, by the way), which was a very nice thing to do. Prices were very decent too, so overall we had a good time here.

“Magnificent view, great food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2009

My husband and I loved this place! It's the best place in MA to see the sun set over the Pacific--the waiters are energetic, friendly, and fun; the beer is cold, the mixed drinks are awesome, and the price is reasonable. Life doesn't get any better than sitting at a seaside, open air table, overlooking the jungle and the Pacific Ocean, sipping a cold Imperial brew, and listening to the meat sizzling on the grill---PURA VIDA!
