We were in Costa Rica for a little over a week and ate out for lunch and dinner throughout the trip. Eight of us went to dinner at the Cafe Agua Azul and we all thought this restaurant had the best food of the trip.
I had the Coconut Crusted Fish and a few others had the Panko Crusted Tuna. They were delicious. And their drinks were good and strong. I admit that it was not inexpensive but it did seem to be on par with most of the nicer restaurants in Manuel Antonio. Everything in that area is expensive.
For a "bonus", while we were waiting for our table, we sat at the bar overlooking the cooking area and had a great time talking with and being entertained by the cook and support crew. Everyone at the place was very friendly - that part made Agua Azul very special.
