When vacationing in Manuel Antonio we were driving along the main road and saw a large yellow sign which said "Ronnie's Restaurant and Dining" and pointed down a dirt road. After being in the area for 3 days now, we know that all dirt roads lead to good things in Manuel Antonio.
Upon arrival to Ronnie's, the restaurant is outdoors under a cabana style roof high on the cliffs in the rainforest overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Being their in the green season means a lot of rain, and our day was no different.
Thinking that we were only going to stay for a quick ceviche and a glass of wine, our mood soon changed as our waiter was friendly, and was soon giving us complimentary shots of exotic fruit infused with alcohol. We are not talking about an umbrella drink, but fruit picked from the trees growing next to the restaurant.
Food was amazing as we dined on chips, guacamole, and of course ceviche.
We definitely would go back to Ronnie's again when we visit Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica again in the future.
