“Healthy food to feed your soul”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2014

This restaurant offers refreshing healthy food that is vibrant and delicious. (I want one in my hometown!!)
We ate a lot of beans, rice and beef during this trip so it was nice to find fresh greens and tasty fruits coupled with fish or chicken.

The hummus is the best I have ever had.
If you are use to speedy quick service you will not find it here because the food is made at the time of ordering. So kick back...order a smoothie and appetizer...enjoy the mellow atmosphere.

“New Farm to table, sustainability conscious, home made fare”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2014 via mobile

This hip new restaurant used packing crates to build the furniture and interior. They must've treated and sanded them as it's very clean and bright inside. They also do some recycling by using sawed in half wine bottles as glasses. All their food including their bread bowls are home made. You can taste the love and care put into the food. They try to get all their ingredients locally and support the Costa Rican economy. They have gluten free options and vegetarian/vegan dishes, as well as, fish and meat based meals. We tried a pasta and a gluten free fish wrap, which were both super tasty! For dessert I tried their strawberry cacao smoothie which was delicious. The staff was all unbelievably friendly, bright and always smiling. A great place to enjoy a glass of great wine, delicious food and all the tourists pass by....

“Unique and delicious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2014 via mobile

After 3 weeks in Costa Rica, we wanted something different. When passing by, this place looked really cool (chairs and tables made of recycled wooden pallets) and with 'fresh, vegan & gluten-free' on their billboard it had to be nice. We checked the menu first and immediately found something delicious.

The superfriendly waitress brought us a jug of fresh lemon water to start with while choosing.
We both took pasta - nicely presented in a bowl made out of home made bread - and it was the best we've had in a long long time!
Not too many people there, but probably because it is now low season.
Worth a stop, you won't be disappointed!

“Unique, delicious & Healthy!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 6, 2014

Such a cool concept for an eco-friendly, trendy, and health-conscious restaurant. Foods taste fresh, healthy, and flavourful. The smoothies are AMAZING. My friends and I came here everyday to pick up a green smoothie for a boost of energy before our surfing sessions. The interior is made of all recycled material and they have a cool DJ set at the back. This place rocks!!

“Great food, cool atmosphere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014 via mobile

This was the best meal of our trip so far. We stumbled into this restaurant after walking all over Jaco for a couple hours. They immediately brought a carafe of cucumber water to our table. Which was much needed and thirst quenching. I got the Pajara Pinta wrap which consisted of Mahi Mahi, beans, quinoa, and peppers wrapped with a garlic ranch sauce on the side. My wife got the parmesan pesto ravioli dish. Both our meals were delicious and the atmosphere was great!
