“Worth the couple of Extra steps”
Reviewed January 23, 2014

This place is located off the main road - and totally worth the couple of extra steps to go around the corner. The food was wonderful and the prices were very reasonable - not something you can say for all the places on the main street. The drinks were really well priced and the service was great. My son had the whole fish - and loved it. We asked the waiter for suggestions on local dishes and enjoyed everything he brought us.

“wonderful and locally owned”
Reviewed January 8, 2014

I've eaten here a few times and the food has always been good. Service can be a bit slow, but if you have good company with you, who cares. The atmosphere is nice and I love that it is owned and run by a local family. The place has no walls and a beautiful wooden ceiling, so you get to enjoy the outdoors and stay dry if it rains.

“Whole Fish”

This is the best place for a whole red snapper anywhere around Jaco. Also great fruit drinks. The place reminds me of another great place that i ate at in Merida, Yucatan. I always eat here at least twice a week when I am at the beach.

“Honest Ticos”
Reviewed November 27, 2013

This was the only place that didn't try to rip us off during the last 2 weeks in Jaco. The servers spoke decent English, which was better than my broken Spanglish, and they were honest with us and polite. The arroz con pollo was excellent and the drink prices were very reasonable. I will be stopping here more than once on my next trip down. Thanks guys! -Jersey Gringos

“Great, but”
Reviewed November 21, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed most of the food. Flavours were excellent. Just do not expect the ribs to be like you get at home. They do not have much meat on them.
The chicken and fish are highly recommended.

We enjoyed it and will go back.
