“sweet and savory deliciousness”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 12, 2013

This bakery and restaurant is consistently busy, and with good reason. Right in the middle of the main strip in Jaco it is easily accessible from all parts of town, and it well worth it. Churros are a staple, but if you want to step away from the sugar, there is a multitude of other treats available from both Costa Rican and American cuisine. There is also a patio upstairs overlooking the main street.
I have started many a day trip to manuel antonio at Pachi's Pan. The bus stop is right out front, so why not grab a coffee and a few empanadas to begin your excursion.

“Great food but impatient wait staff.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 6, 2013

Delicious sweet rolls but don't ask any questions of anyone behind the counters. They have no patience with tourists and seem to prefer the surfer crowd. Their rudeness kind of ruined the atmosphere which made the food not taste as good as it should. It reminded me of the Seinfeld episode of the Soup Nazi...NO SWEET ROLL FOR YOU!!

“Amazing and cheap pastries”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

This is a great place to go for something cheap and tasty to take to the beach. We got a bunch of churros, cheese breads, and pinnaple upside down cake slices for under $8. Make sure to get the tres leeches cake it is out of this world!
