We went to the Jaco Rainforest Tram on the third day of our three week Costa Rica Vacation. Our family of four loved it. We had a great guide, Rocio, accompany us on the tram. She told us lots of great information about the flora and the fauna...as well as the many creatures that lived in the forest. We saw white-faced monkeys, toucans, frogs. The tram stopped at any time we desired to have a closer look. After the tram tour, we then did 45 minute nature walk through the forest. Our guide showed us more about the forest and the various things that grow there. We also got to see a rather extensive snack exhibit. Our kids, who are now 5 & 8, loved the whole thing. Although we did not do this, we saw that you could ride the tram to the top and then zipline down through the forest. There is also a snack bar at the base of the tram. BE SURE to bring bug spray. We did not and were charged double the normal price for a can of bug spray at their gift shop.

This was a highlight of our trip! We saw sloths and Toucans in the trees! After we got to the top we then zip lined back down! Very beautiful!

Buyer Beware. This is a very boring and tedious tour and extremely over priced. A slow, boring ride over the trees and you dont see any type of mentionalble wild life as they lead you to beleive.

Dont get taken into the Tram-opy tour package either as their version of a canopy tour is horrible. Everyone told us to try the Vista Los Suenos canopy tour and we are glad we did. It was incredible.

Rain Forest Aerial Trams in Costa Rica are located near Jaco, its Aerial tram is OK but the worst part was the fact that they charged my 2 year old for $27.5 US Dollars. This was the only park across Costa Rica that charged me money (and quite a lot) for my 2 year old!
