We went to the Jaco Rainforest Tram on the third day of our three week Costa Rica Vacation. Our family of four loved it. We had a great guide, Rocio, accompany us on the tram. She told us lots of great information about the flora and the fauna...as well as the many creatures that lived in the forest. We saw white-faced monkeys, toucans, frogs. The tram stopped at any time we desired to have a closer look. After the tram tour, we then did 45 minute nature walk through the forest. Our guide showed us more about the forest and the various things that grow there. We also got to see a rather extensive snack exhibit. Our kids, who are now 5 & 8, loved the whole thing. Although we did not do this, we saw that you could ride the tram to the top and then zipline down through the forest. There is also a snack bar at the base of the tram. BE SURE to bring bug spray. We did not and were charged double the normal price for a can of bug spray at their gift shop.
